Workout Food

An athlete needs a special diet when he’s training heavily so that he can have energy, recover quickly, and build endurance. Without the proper diet his body can’t hold up to the rigor and stress he demands of it. 

The Lord’s Table is workout food for the Christian life. Like the honey Jonathan found on the day he fought the Philistines, this food should brighten your eyes and strengthen your heart. It should remind you of God’s love for you and energize you to leave this place ready to run the race that He has set before you.
