Sufficient Grace

Grace is God’s unmerited favor which he has for you. It’s not some sort of magical elixir that he doles out to you bit by bit in exchange for completing various tasks or rituals. You do not earn it in any way. And because of that, there’s nothing you do that can add to it. His grace is sufficient.

This should be a strong comfort to you when you repent of your sins. Because in the moment of repentance, you know how far you fall short. But by his grace, you have faith. By his grace, you were justified. By his grace you are being kept and sanctified to Him as you run the race of the Christian life. And by his grace, you will be raised again at the last day.
