The Table Restores

If you have a relationship that has been broken or strained through sin, it may feel like things will never get back to normal, even after repentance and forgiveness. An awkwardness, a sort of shyness, intrudes in the relationship. But table fellowship dispels this feeling. To eat with someone is to be at peace with them. Sharing food around the table both restores a relationship and proves that restoration has taken place. This is what God invites you to here at His table. If you have repented of your sins, but still don’t quite feel forgiven, then look here at what the Lord has provided for you. This fellowship meal at His table proves His love for you and His good intentions toward you. Don’t hold back, don’t linger, come and feast.
