Table Fellowship

God invites you to church every week to share a family meal with Him. We’re not just here to hear some nice music and get some intellectual stimulation. As we’ve heard today, everything in a worship service moves us toward fellowship with God.

We sit here at the Lord’s Table each week for a family meal. God the Father calls you, “Come, son, come, daughter, sit with your brothers and sisters in the kingdom of heaven.” Our elder brother, Jesus, feeds us the bread of life. And as we eat together, we’re reminded that we are not merely a group of separate individuals here to get what fuel we can for the upcoming week. We are the family of God.
