For those of you not down with the latest of up-to-date scholarship,
I thought I needed to share with you this little tidbit. Karen King, a scholar at Harvard, has announced the discovery of a 3 x 1.5 inch scrap of papyrus, dating from the 4th century and containing the partial line, “Jesus said to them, ‘My wife …’”
So, what does this tiny scrap of paper written hundreds of years after the time of Christ mean to you as a Christian? The media would have you believe that it clearly means that everything the Bible teaches about Jesus is false. So just knock off all that silly Christian stuff right now, m'kay?
